The Purple Hen Hideaway Ramada

Accommodation was perfect for our family, the house was comfortable and cosy. Positive: House was clean, cosy and updated. The house had all equipment that we needed and was stocked with what was needed. The resort has a restaurant with great food and there is lots to do for the kids at the resort! We will definitely book again!

Amazing, peaceful, and very good for families. Positive: It was large enough for my family. There was enough room for all of us. Plenty of dishes and cutlery, modern appliances and beds were very comfortable. It was far enough away from all the main facilities of the resort, which was wonderful as it was peaceful. Negative: Nothing

Awesome, comfortable family stay! Positive: The space! The amount of crockery and cutlery was awesome, meant we didn’t have to do the dishes everyday. Beds were comfy. Place was spotless! Negative: Only things that weren’t great was some internal doors were squeaky and we couldn’t get the dryer to work - Which was only an issue because we traveled from New Zealand and I did a load thinking I could go home with minimal washing, but we couldn’t dry it…

Do not recommend. Next time will book directly through resort for better quality/standard. Positive: Resort amenities and location were great. Negative: The property reeked of mothballs. We found a dirty sock belonging to a previous guest, so it was not cleaned well. The dishes were dirty and sticky, so we rewashed any dishes or cutlery we used. There was no colander for pasta (common meal for traveling families). There were inadequate amenities in the property— only one rubbish bin in the whole property, located in the kitchen. I suggest bins in the toilet/bathrooms also. The family toilet had a sink but no hand soap and no place to hang a towel to dry hands. We were instructed to take out trash and recycling, but not provided with any extra bags for the bins. One small kitchen bin for a family of 6 for 5 days was too small.
